Triage Survey Results
New Appointment System
Please note the new Triage system implemented for "on the day appointments. You will be added to a triage list and a Clinician will call you back, and where appropriate you will not be required to attend the surgery. This process allows the Clinicians to assist more patients in a working day.
Family Planning Services
We are unable to provide the Sub-Dermal Implants to our registered patients at the surgery. Patients requesting a family Planning Implant will be directed to an appropriate clinic.
Travel Vaccine Service
We are now able to offer a full travel clinic service, and at least 6 weeks notice will be required. All the Non-NHS funded vaccines are chargeable to the patient. We will continue to provide the free NHS travel immunisations including Tetanus, Typhoid and Hep A. Please refer to the Clinics & Services Tab to access the Travel Vaccination section.
Accessible Information Standard
The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is a new NHS England information standard which all organisations that provide NHS or adult social care are required to implement.
The AIS aims to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss receive information that they can access and understand, for example in large print or via email or professional communication support if required , for example from a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.
Please let us know if you have any particular information or communication needs and how best we can meet these needs.
Patient on-line Services
In addition to booking /cancelling appointments and requesting repeat prescriptions, patients can now view various aspects of their medical record on-line. These include immunisations, allergies, test results and coded details e.g medical conditions.
Please ask Reception for an information leaflet. Patients will be required to provide ID to view information on-line.
Electronic Prescription Service
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
The service enables us to send your repeat prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice, where you live, work or shop.
To use EPS you need to choose a place for the surgery to electronically send your prescription to. This is called a ‘nomination’. You can arrange this by filling in a form at your pharmacy or in the surgery.
Should you wish to change your nomination or cancel the service, you can do this at any time. Please advise your pharmacy or the surgery before your next prescription is due.
